Thoughts unrelated to this page:
When I planned Highly Motivated, it all began with one specific story I had in mind, about one main character. Then I added more and more ideas and characters and background stories and things that were going to happen. And while I have introduced some minor elements that are relevant to that one original story, that story itself is just as far from happening as it was when the comic started. Of course at two pages per week, things develop veerrry slooooowwly… But I’ve come to wonder whether I should eliminate that part completely. Writing advice says “kill your darlings”, and I suspect that story could be considered a “darling” of mine.
On the other hand, this is still supposed to be a “for fun and learning” project, so it may be the wrong place to try and achieve perfection (which currently is not within reach anyway) by sacrificing something I would like to do.

Anyway, right now I’m looking forward to the next chapter. 🙂
